Sumbal Kainat - Chief Technical Officer

Sumbal Kainat is a sports enthusiast and a physical education trainer, pursing a PhD in Physical Education and Sports Science from the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, which is among the top tier institutions in Beijing, China. Sumbul completed her MS in Human Kinesiology from the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (Beijing, China) and her MSc was in Physical Education and Sports Science from Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) in Pakistan. She has also extensively studied the process of education during her BEd and MEd degrees from Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB).

Her research focus has been obesity rates and effective mechanisms on how to overcome obesity in adolescents. Sumbul is also studying the processes involved in sports injuries, with a focus on rehabilitation through body functional movement training. She has been able to secure prestigious scholarships during her research career from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and was awarded the Beijing Government Scholarship, alongside a certificate of Appreciation of International School of CUPES and a Distinction in Chinese Language Level HSK-5 in 2014.

Besides her formal career, Sumbal has been working as an events organizer for 3 years. In 2019, she was appointed as a Director of the World Leisure Sports Association (WLSA) (California, USA). The National Centre awarded her the certificate for excellent performance and outstanding committee member for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST).

Sumbal is affiliated with WEmpower Pakistan as a Chief Technical Officer, and manages events, conferences, and meetings for the organization. She also ensures communication between the marketing and operations are smooth, and oversee the day-to-day operations of various departments.

Sumbal also has an outstanding sports career where she won provincial, national, and international sporting titles in cricket, skiing, badminton, table tennis and hockey. Her hobbies include traveling, photography, cooking and reading.
