About the Event
The digital lecture series will enable the participants to acquire specific skills to help in their professional life as well as research career. Each course will be one week long at the end of which an evaluation will be conducted.
The Objective
- Targeted lecture series to educate the participants.
- Skills include introductory and intermediate level courses on essential software and skills to supplement a research oriented career.
The Opportunity
- Women in Pakistan, especially from rural backgrounds and cities with little access to digital literacy training will benefit from the program.
- Upon successful completion of the course, the participants will be awarded certificates.
- This will be a great booster to the career of research oriented women during the pandemic.

SPSS for Academic Research
This course is a practical guideline for those seeking to apply statistical formulae to their research data. Through SPSS you can convert raw data to meaningful results. SPSS is a software designed by IBM and can be used for predictive and descriptive data analysis.
Research Methodology & Research Ethics
Research Methodology is the specific procedures or techniques used to identify, select, process, and analyse information or solve a research question. The methodology section allows the researcher to critically evaluate a study’s overall validity and reliability.
Introduction to SOLIDWORKS
This introductory course will help to become accustomed with SolidWorks interface and its applications. It focuses on the basic sketching and modelling tool to build simple 3D geometries. Along with the basic geometries, it also includes the assemblage of different parts at the end.
An Introduction to EndNote
EndNote is a search tool that provides a simple way to search online bibliographic databases and retrieve the references directly into EndNote. EndNote is a reference and image database which specializes in storing, managing and searching for bibliographic references in your private reference library.
