Academia-Industry Collaborative Opportunities

The goal of the event was to introduce WEmpower Pakistan as a platform for Pakistani women who seek to excel in the fields of Science, Engineering, and Technology. Dr. Ayeesha Mujeeb also introduced research activities of Manchester BIOGEL (Biotech Company based in the UK). The research talk provided an opportunity for researchers to learn more about the company and its role in providing self-assembling peptide hydrogels for regenerative medicine and clinical research. Dr. Hassina Tabassum (CEO – WEmpower Pakistan) emphasized on the importance of commercialization of energy storing materials.

Dr. Ayeesha Mujeeb (Chairwoman – WEmpower Pakistan) talked about the WEmpower Pakistan initiative and introduced the partners of the organization.
