Course Title

Introduction to SOLIDWORKS

Course Duration

  • 1 Week
  • December 21st – December 27th

DESCRIPTION

Engineers explore and involved in numerous industrial and academic projects focusing on advanced engineering design, manufacturing processes, robotics, automation, and electro-mechanical systems. SolidWorks provides a strong three-dimensional design and modelling tool, which can help the students to bring their idea into a visual reality. The basic knowledge of sketching and drafting is important in any engineering application specially design of mechanical mechanism.

This introductory course will help to become accustomed with SolidWorks interface and its applications. It focuses on the basic sketching and modelling tool to build simple 3D geometries. Along with the basic geometries, it also includes the assemblage of different parts at the end.
